Consolidated Edison Company of New York, Inc., and its nine co-plaintiff-appellants (collectively, "ConEd") appeal from the decision of the United States District Court of the District of Columbia, which entered summary judgment in favor of the defendants-appellees, the Secretary of Energy, the Director of the Department of Energys Office of Hearings and Appeals (collectively, "DOE"), and the Farmers Petroleum Cooperative and eight other petroleum cooperatives (collectively, "the Cooperatives"). ConEd is seeking to reverse the DOEs award of about $1.6 million to the Cooperatives from sums recovered as a result of the Citronelle Unit settlement. However, because the releases executed by the Cooperatives in connection with the Stripper Well settlement agreement entitle the Cooperatives to recovery under the Citronelle Unit funds, we affirm the district court.
